Statement of Professional Standing

FOR PRESENTATION PURPOSES ONLY: DO NOT PUBLISH 

As part of your application package, you will need to provide a statement of professional standing. This must indicate that your right to teach has never been suspended, revoked or cancelled.

You must arrange to have your statement sent to us directly from:

• the jurisdiction in which you completed your teacher education
• any other jurisdiction in which you have been certified to teach.

Your statement must:

• verify you were authorized to teach in the jurisdiction(s) mentioned above
• state that your authorization was never suspended, cancelled or revoked
• come directly to us from the licensing authority or department of education
• be an original signed document
• be no more than a year old from when we receive it
• be in the official language of the country in which you taught.
