If you’re applying for equivalent standing for an Additional Qualification, from schedule C or D, please use this form

Note:

• Please note: Equivalent standing is only for teacher education coursework completed at an approved teacher education institution outside of Ontario.
• The application fee is non-refundable.
• Equivalent standing is not granted for academic courses or experience.

To qualify, courses must:

• extend beyond your initial teaching education program
• be completed at an accredited teacher training institution or approved graduate program
• match the content of the Additional Qualification course for which you’re requesting equivalency
• include at least 125 hours of study
• include concentrated study of an appropriate teaching methodology.
