If a College member is found guilty of professional misconduct or to be incompetent by a panel of the College’s Discipline Committee, the College makes the decision public.

You can find past disciplinary decisions in our archive alphabetically. You can also find past disciplinary decisions at the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII), a free online database of decisions by courts and administrative tribunals.

Confidentiality

• Confidentiality restrictions may mean certain decisions or parts of decisions are not publicly available.
• The names or other identifying information of student victims/witnesses and other vulnerable persons are redacted from Discipline Committee decisions.
• Court-ordered publication bans may apply to certain decisions.
• Some decisions may be removed from our site in accordance with the Ontario College of Teachers Act and College by-laws, once certain conditions are met.
