College members are invited to contribute to the Accreditation Resource Guide update

September 19 2022

Ontario Certified Teachers are invited to provide their professional input as the Ontario College of Teachers prepares a refresh of the Accreditation Resource Guide. First released in 2014, the Guide is a companion to legislation that regulates core content that must be included in initial teacher education in Ontario. It describes the skills and knowledge aspiring teachers should learn, as well as ways to demonstrate this learning in their initial teacher education programs.

Modernized priorities for Ontario teachers and students

The College consults regularly with its education partners to better understand emerging and evolving priorities in Ontario. Seven identified priority areas will inform the Accreditation Resource Guide update.
