Council approves 2018 budget

Council has approved the College’s operating budget for 2018, including an annual membership fee that – for the fifth straight year – remains fixed at $150.

Council strives to keep fees as low as possible while maintaining and improving services. Constant efforts to increase efficiencies and reduce operating costs have resulted in a fee that has remained unchanged since 2014, and is one of the lowest amongst Ontario’s 40 regulated professions.

The budget supports a wide variety of activities the College performs in the public interest. This includes new member evaluation and licensing services, complaint, investigation and hearing activity, accreditation of pre-service and in-service programs or courses and the maintenance and promotion of the Standards of Practice and Ethical Standards.
